Look Up Jerome County Inmates

Jerome County inmate records are published through jail reports rather than a standard profile-style roster. A Jerome County jail roster search begins with the county's current custody report, then moves to daily arrest, arraignment, warrant, court, or state correction tools when the first report does not answer the question. The county jail records cover local custody in Idaho, while sentenced state prisoners, federal inmates, and immigration detainees require different lookup systems after transfer.

Jerome County Jail Roster Overview

Jerome County's official jail roster source is the Jail Reports & Warrants page and the linked SIRCOMM/CentralSquare public report portal. The county describes the In Custody Head Count as the report for persons currently incarcerated in the Jerome County Jail. It is a dated PDF, not a database that opens a separate public profile for each inmate.

The report path matters because the portal includes regional agencies outside Jerome County. For Jerome County inmate records, use the report title for the JCSO In Custody Report and the agency choice for Jerome County Sheriff when the search fields are available. The same county page also links daily arrests, daily arraignments, active warrants, and VINE. Those reports help fill gaps that the current custody PDF leaves open.

The current county roster does not replace the Idaho Department of Correction, BOP, ICE, or court case systems. A person sentenced to IDOC custody may leave the Jerome County report and later appear in IDOC's Resident/Client Search. Formal charges, hearing dates, and case status should be checked through Idaho iCourt or the Jerome County court clerk.

Use the Jerome County Roster

The county report is best for confirming current local custody. Use it before calling the jail when the question is whether someone is in the Jerome County Jail now. Use the daily arrest report when the question is a new booking and the daily arraignment report when the question is an initial court appearance.

  1. Open the official Jail Reports & Warrants page or the SIRCOMM reports search.
  2. Select JCSO - Portal In Custody Report for current custody at the county jail.
  3. Choose JRCO - Jerome County Sheriff in the agency field if the portal asks for an agency.
  4. Open the current PDF and use the browser or PDF find tool to search for the person's name.
  5. If the person is missing, check Daily Arrests, Daily Arraignments, VINE, IDOC, BOP, ICE, or call the jail.

The public report is dated. The June 8, 2026 report set was generated shortly after 8:00 a.m. Mountain time, but the county does not promise a fixed refresh schedule. Same-day releases, bonds, and transfers may not be reflected until the next report.

Jerome County Roster Search Fields

The SIRCOMM interface searches report files, not inmate names directly. The user chooses a report title, a report date range, and an agency, then opens the matching PDF. This is why the report title matters more than entering a last name into a roster search box.

The official SIRCOMM report search interface shows the controls used to locate Jerome County jail reports.

The regional agency list includes Jerome Police Department and several neighboring agencies, so the Jerome County Sheriff filter should be used for the county jail roster.

Jerome County Inmate Record Fields

The In Custody Report shows enough to confirm a current jail booking but not enough to replace a court docket. The June 8, 2026 report listed name, hold agency, booking number, booking date, days in custody, and front mugshot. It did not show bond, formal case number, full date of birth, address, detailed housing unit, or charges.

FieldWhat It Shows
Inmate's NameName of the person listed on the current custody report.
Hold AgencyShort code for the agency or authority tied to the custody hold.
Booking NumberLocal booking identifier, sometimes numeric and sometimes agency coded.
Booking DateDate the person was booked into the jail record.
Days In CustodyNumber of days from booking to the report date.
Front MugshotBooking photo column in the current custody PDF.

Charges are handled differently. The Daily Arrests Report lists booking charges for recent arrests. The Idaho iCourt portal and court clerk are the better source for formal charges after prosecutor review.

Daily Arrests and Arraignments

The daily reports add context to Jerome County inmate records. The Daily Arrests Report printed June 8, 2026 listed five records with booking date, name, age, sex, and charges. The Daily Arraignments Report listed seven records scheduled at 13:00, with date/time, name, description, cell location, and deputy. The arraignment report connects the jail roster to the first court appearance.

The Active Warrants Report is separate. It listed warrant number, jurisdiction, issue date, description, original charges, and bond amount. Its bond language included Book & Release, No Bond, and cash/surety amounts. If a person is arrested on a warrant, that warrant entry can explain why the jail may hold the person even when a fresh arrest record is not the only issue.

County State and Federal Inmates

Jerome County Jail records cover people in local custody. They do not list every person with a Jerome County case once that person enters state prison or a federal custody system. The IDOC Resident/Client Search covers people on court probation or under IDOC jurisdiction, including incarcerated, probation, or parole status. It requires a last name or IDOC number.

Booking Process in Jerome County

A Jerome County arrest usually moves through booking before it appears in the jail record. The public reports show the practical sequence: arrest by a law-enforcement agency, transport to the county jail if local custody is needed, intake, assignment of a booking number and booking date, entry of charges or holds, and scheduling for initial appearance when required. The current custody report then shows whether the person remains in jail at the time of the report.

The public reports do not publish the full intake checklist. They do show the record pieces that matter to searchers: booking number, date, days in custody, front mugshot, daily arrest charge entries, arraignment cell location, and warrant bond language. A formal court case may differ from the booking charge after prosecutor review.

Jerome County Jail Visits

The official jail page says all visitation is by video visit. It directs friends and family to set up an account with GettingOut or contact ViaPath customer service. No local in-person visitor schedule, visit length, remote-video fee table, dress code, or child-visitor rules were published in the located county sources.

Records Request Backup

When the public PDF does not answer the question, use the Jerome County Sheriff's Office public records request process. The local form accepts requests for accident reports, police reports, photographs, and other records. It says photo discs cost $5 each and that fees may be assessed for reports over 100 pages. The form can be submitted by fax to 208-595-3309, by email to jcsorecords@co.jerome.id.us, or by mail to 2151 S Tiger Dr, Jerome, ID 83338.

Current Idaho law is in Title 74, Chapter 1. The local form's older code reference should not be used as the current statute citation. Under Idaho Code section 74-103, resident requests generally must be granted or denied within three working days unless more time is needed, then within ten working days.

Note: Call the jail before sending money, scheduling video visits, or relying on a dated custody report for same-day release status.
